Guide Strip also know as wear strip and hard strip, is a low-friction guide strip made from fabrice reinforced polyester resin, a high-compressive strength composite. This guide strip is substantially stronger than polyamide-based materials and offers considerably lower water absorption.
Guide strip/ring have an important place in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. If there are radial loads in the ysytem and no protections are provided, sealing elements do not function and also there may be permanent damage for the cylinder. Our guide strip are produced with PTFE filled with 40% Bronze, standard smooth surface or structuralization coining surface for options.
