U-Cup Hydraulic Piston Seal

The U-cup piston seals in DSH Seals are well accepted by cylinder manufacturers and equipment builders. The U-Cup Seal is a specialized piston seal design, developed from the
standard symmetrical U-cup. Wear Ring assures improved sealing performance due to the following features:

1. Improved lip design. Both lips have precision knife trimmed chamfers to provide
complete circumferential lip contact.

2. Larger than the groove for which Piston Ring is intended, which ensures a tight fit in the
slot to prevent movement of the seal during cylinder operation.

3. Reliable sealing performance. There are enough contact area and pre-load to
guarantee its sealing effect.

4. Small frictional resistance. This feature enables the seal to provide smooth
movement.

5. Shrinkage and low-temperature leakage resistant.

6. Good pressure resistance. O Ring can work under a wide application pressure range
without failure, with working pressure up to 40MPa.

7. Good distortion resistance.

8. High reciprocating speed. Wear Ring running speed reaches average 0.5m/s, which makes
it especially suitable for the hydraulic cylinder in heavy machinery.
